Dardan Djokaj (Met-Flow) has been engaged as the key Traffic Controller for the Preston Workshops Redevelopment Project since January 2015.
Traffic management in and out of a heavily congested operational worksite with many interfaces has certainly been challenging at times. Throughout this period, Dardan has openly embraced each challenge and done so with safety at the forefront of each activity, an excellent work ethic, and a friendly smile.
During a recent discussion, Dardan said that he loves his job, gets on really well with all personnel at Preston, and feels more like a Coleman Rail employee than one from Met-Flow. His consistency in safety performance and excellent work ethic has been recognised by client representatives and his peers, resulting in Dardan being named the worthy winner of the Safety Reward & Recognition Program for August.
^PTWR Project Manager, Josh Thompson, congratulates Dardan Djokaj for his contribution towards safety.
