On Saturday, 11th of April 2015, Coleman Rail employee Don Mackay was working behind the Plate Shop retrieving rail pedestals when he found a Yarra Trams stillage balancing precariously on top of another stillage.
The stillage was immediately removed.
Don was humbled by the award, and the man with a big heart immediately gifted the voucher to Rhiannon Lindsey, who was running in the Mother’s Day Classic on the Sunday to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
^ General Superintendent Brett Lindsey (L) congratulates Don Mackay for his excellent contribution towards safety and a worthy winner of the PTWR Safety Reward & Recognition Program for April.
